George Kroumpouzos, MD, PhD, FAAD
Dr. George Kroumpouzos, Director of GK Dermatology, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a former Instructor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, and a Professor of Dermatology at Jundiaí Medical School, São Paulo, Brazil. He is certified by both the American and European Boards of Dermatology. Dr. Kroumpouzos’s expertise includes aesthetic dermatology, gynecologic/obstetric dermatology, skin cancer, psychodermatology, and pigmentation disorders. His clinical practice focuses on dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Kroumpouzos has been practicing dermatology for over 20 years and has an extensive 30+ year career in research. He has published more than 160 peer-reviewed publications and 40 book chapters. He is the Editor of 2 monographs and 5 books/texts, including the definitive Text Atlas of Obstetric Dermatology. Neil H. Desai, MS, PA-C
Neil earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2015. Shortly after graduating, he worked towards his EMT Certification and then as a Medical Assistant at Central Dermatology Center in Chapel Hill, NC, learning dermatology and gaining clinical experience for PA School. Afterward, Neil attended Boston University to complete his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021 and, shortly after that, joined GK Dermatology. He loves dermatology and enjoys the variety of cases he sees in the Clinic. Neil provides skin cancer surveillance, treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, and procedural/surgical treatments. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Neil firmly believes in the value of continuing medical education and participates in respective programs of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He appreciates the privilege of treating patients and is always striving to stay abreast of new developments in dermatology so he can continue to deliver the best care to his patients.
